wire-wound
platinum resistance temperature detectors

Technical Information
TDI Wire Wound Platinum Resistance Temperture Detectors are built to the highest standard by a team whose skills and expertin this highly specialised field are unsurpassed.
The most commonly used detectors are described here. A further standard range is manufactured to BS 2G. 148: details on request.
For specific applications, TDI temperature detectors can be supplied with other electrical charactoristics, and detectors can also be manufactured to meet individual requirements. Standard range detectorbe supplied from stock to tolerances closer than ths can also ose specified; details below.
All stages of manufacture are closely controlled to ensure that all electrical and mechanical requirements are met each individual setector is tested to confirm that it meets the specification.

Tolerances
Detectors are available from stock with tolerances 1/2, 1/3, 1/5, and 1/10 of those specified on the preceding page.
Calibration
All detectors are checked at a point 5mm from the ceramic.
Stability
Detectors typically conform to BS Stability figures ±0.05% for ten thermal cycles from 0 to 600°C and from—220 to 00°C.
Stability is a compromise between vibration per-formance, and various options can be provided: please ask for details.
